NEW VET COURSES OFFERED IN YES CENTRE

Two new Vocational Education Training (VET) certificate courses have been introduced in the YES Centre this year.

Students can now study Certificate III in Fitness and Certificate II in Kitchen Operations.

Certificate III in Fitness provides a pathway to work as a fitness instructor to deliver exercise sessions for group, aqua or gym programs in fitness, leisure, aquatic and community centres.

Certificate II in Kitchen Operations provides a pathway to work in kitchens in organisations such as restaurants, hotels, catering operations, clubs, pubs, cafes and coffee shops. It also provides an entry to work within institutions such as aged care facilities, hospitals, prisons and schools.
