GRAZING BOARDS A SENSORY DELIGHT

A sensory burst of colour, taste and smell abounded when the YES Stage 1 Community Studies class prepared a grazing board community lunch for staff and students in the YES Centre.

Teacher Ms Emily Doran said students worked together to select, order, prepare and present the food items, and create menu boards advertising the event.

“In the kitchen the students displayed teamwork and took pride in presenting the food for others to eat,” Ms Doran said.

“Students are also collecting feedback for their reflection which will go towards their final grade for this SACE subject.”
