STUDENTS ENJOY INTERACTIVE ANIMAL PRESENTATION
Did you know that crocodiles are more closely related to birds than lizards? Or that birds are descendants of the dinosaurs? These and many more animal facts were shared in two Animals Anonymous presentations held for YES students on Wednesday, March 6.
Animals Anonymous is a mobile team of wildlife demonstrators and environmental educators whose aim is to raise awareness about Australian wildlife and the importance of conserving local ecosystems and habitat.
During the presentation, students and staff interacted with a fresh water crocodile, quokka, spiny-tailed gecko, sugar glider, scrub python, carpet python, huntsman spider and a tawny frogmouth.
