STUDENTS TRY THEIR HAND AT WELDING

A small group of YES students has been undertaking competencies in Certificate II in Automotive Servicing Techniques this year.

In mid-September students undertook their last two-day block and tried their hand at MIG welding in the metal fabrication workshop at tafeSA Port Augusta.

In the past three terms they have learnt valuable hands-on skills and built a foundation of basic knowledge of light vehicles through this course.

A big thank you goes to the automotive lecturers for making time for these students.
