TOSHI AND ZACHARY WIN WALPAARA ANPA AWARDS

Walpaara Anpa Award recipients at PASS this year are Toshi and Zachary.

YES student Toshi and SAASTA student Zachary received their laptop prizes at Aboriginal Education Awards night at PASS on Wednesday.

The Walpaara Anpa Award goes to Aboriginal students completing Year 10 and enrolled to complete SACE. Students must demonstrate a regular school attendance, have achieved consistent academic results and be a positive role model to other Aboriginal students.

Students apply for the award by submitting an application, with support forms from their teacher and parent/guardians. The most current student report is also included with the application.

A selection panel assesses applications and selects the award winners.
